The Race

The Course

Celebrate the start of the holiday season at the 12Ks of Christmas race at Fort Worth's popular Trinity Trails. You'll run on a non-technical, flat, fast pavement course that traverses wooded areas with scenic views of the lake.

Get into the spirit and wear a festive holiday outfit or your favorite Christmas sweater.

After the race, meet on the patio at the Woodshed Smokehouse and enjoy hot chocolate, relax with friends and other runners, listen to music and enjoy the day.

Each registrant with a valid bib receives a hot chocolate with a peppermint stick.

10:00 am Cutoff - all distances

RACE BRIEFINGS - begin 10 minutes prior to race start time, at the start line

RACES START - on the scheduled time for each distance and late starts are not accommodated

Course Markings

This race is marked with in-ground flagging, directional signage, hanging flags and cones for each distance.

Course Difficulty Rating

EASY = 1 out of 5

Flat / Fast course with little elevation gain or loss on a non-technical terrain

Results will post live during the race.

Well stocked Aid Stations manned by passionate volunteers, provide

First Aid: Band-Aids, Vaseline, and other basic first aid supplies
Food/Drink: Crazy Water, electrolytes, various salty, sweet and savory snacks

Most aid stations are manned by passionate volunteers - although some aid stations might be unmanned

Cupless Race

This is an environmentally friendly race. Please bring your refillable water bottles and we will refill them at the aid stations. It's our goal to keep the trails litter free to preserve their beauty.
