The Race
The Course
No need to leave Fido home on this morning's run; bring him along as your running companion. This puppy-palooza will run the beautiful and expansive Trinity Trails System in Fort Worth. The flat and fast course traverses bridges overlooking the river, parks with groves of oak trees, and double track trail on non-technical terrain consisting of both pavement and dirt for you both to enjoy.
Don't have a pup to run with and want one for the morning? Local rescue shelters will be on site to let you run with their dogs. If you and Mr. Wiggles can't part ways, you may even choose to adopt your new best friend. It's not necessary to run with a dog if you'd prefer to not be outdone by your furry friend. We understand. Solo runners are welcome too.
Afterwards, mingle with your mongrels, listen to music, and drink beer served ice cold, all while hanging out with friends on an outdoor patio located directly on the trail.
If you are looking for the perfect occasion to spend the day with Rover on the trails then this is one you don't want to miss.
Note: Each registrant receives one free beer with a valid bib. Please come prepared to clean up after your own pup. All pet owners and registrants running with a pup are responsible for their animals well being and behavior. Please make sure everyone plays nice for everyones' enjoyment and safety.

NOTE: All races start at the scheduled time. Late starts will not be accommodated.
CUTOFFS
The cutoff for all distances is 12:00 pm on October 5, 2019.
Course Markings
The race will be marked with in ground flagging and color coordinated directional signage for each race distance.

Aid Stations
Well stocked Aid Stations manned by passionate volunteers, provide

Aid stations will be conveniently located at key points along the course.
Cupless Race
This is an environmentally friendly race and it is our goal to keep the trails litter free to preserve their beauty.
Cups won't be supplied during this racing event. Please bring your refillable water bottles and we will refill them at the aid stations.

Race Shirts, Medals and Awards
Everyone registered will receive a Pups & Pints race shirt if they register by September 23, 2019.
Finishers of the 5k, 10k, and half marathon will receive beautiful, custom designed medals based on availability.
Winner Awards
Top Male and Top Female for each race. Awards will be emailed after the race ends.

NOTE: Race briefings begin promptly, 20 minutes prior to race start time, at the start line. Racers may only register for each event up until that distances start time. Racers may only drop in distances prior to race start. If they choose to drop during the race they will receive a DNF.
